On March 31, 2011, David Adams Richards visited HHS to read from his novels Mercy Among the Children and The Friends of Meagre Fortune. His reading was followed by a Question and Answer session where HHS students had the opportunity to learn about his writing career and the wide range of his writing in fiction and non-fiction. The fortunate individuals who own his books had their books signed as well.
